Paola LaMorticella, a makeup artist and stylist with over 25 years of experience, was inspired to create Balm No.1 and Olio E Osso after commercial skin care products irritated her infant son's skin. Her unique recipe of simple, nourishing elements and the absence of non-essential ingredients healed her son's skin and now Olio has grown into an entire line of natural skincare products that promote clean, strong and beautiful skin. Team Olio E Osso is comprised of a talented and hardworking group of women (plus a few men!) who craft their products with love in Portland. They proudly create each item in the US and support local communities.
