So many of our friends are setting intentions for 2020, checking in with their deepest desires and coming up with ways to live their values more authentically in their daily lives. Which is a lovely way to replace the tired trope of “resolutions” that generally crop up every year. “New Year New You” is actually unbelievably toxic–please, please stop with that. Healthy growth is gradual and organic–it happens everyday with every experience. But we want to stress this point–the YOU on December 31st is the same YOU on Jan1–which is to say–beautiful, wonderful and worthy of respect and adoration.
We hope your intentions this year includes appreciating yourself more. Giving yourself the rest and replenishment necessary to rise to the challenges when presented with opportunities. And be the ultimate keeper of yourself and all your physical and emotional needs, because no one is going to take care of you like you can.
Enjoy 2020 and always, always be good to yourself, queen!
Party on!
