Beauty is a delightful business. We love to have fun and curate these magical products that inspire you to take good care. But it's also just one part of what we do as a company. We also work hard to be an example of how businesses of any size can give back and make a meaningful impact on challenges we face in this world.
We believe it's important to take stock of what we were able to accomplish in a year. I'm thrilled to report back to you the impact we made together—
As you know, we proudly contribute 3% of every sale to social, or environmental causes.
We will select a non-profit to automatically contribute to if the customer chooses not to select one for themselves. Every customer has the option to choose which non-profit they would like to contribute to, and we will honor that choice.
In 2022, we contributed $1,693.97 to Together Rising and $774.27 to Our Daily Bread. In addition there was a $0.75 contribution to the Transgender Law Center (TLC), for a total of $2,470.94!

On top of that aforementioned 3%, we also fund the planting of a tree for every single product that we sell.
We funded the planting of 4,123 trees in 2022.

That may not seem like a lot, but each tree represents the beginning of something beautiful and long lasting. We have partnered with Ecologi to fund the planting of trees in areas that are experiencing heavy deforestation due to human activities such as logging and land clearing for agriculture. Most of these trees are mangroves in Madagascar (about 94%), but our funding also helps plant some indigenous species in Kenya (about 6%).
